Before applying your patch, I disabled the rom function in the BIOS. But with a disabled rom function, linux was unable to detect the eth0 device.
So, thank you very much. With the help of your Boot-disk, I was able to fix the problem and now my linux is connected to the internet :-)
Best regards,
I decided to stop being blond long enough to download the thing and run it on my laptop.

I have a T22 though, does that change anything?
Cause it isn't working.

When I run it the says

Intel Boot Agent Utility
IBAUtil version 3.06.44.33
Copyright 2002-2006 Intel Corporation
IBAUtil cannot run at the same time as Windows NT.

-
Ok, running : IBAUtil.exe -NIC=1 -DEFCFG

-
SELECT ACTION:

-
1 Return to first menu
2 Manual use, go to prompt

-
or reboot with CTRL+ALT+DEL ...

-
Select ACTION <1 or 2> ...

And if I try and select the manual or anything all that happens is I get this quick flash of letters and then the screen disappears.
Any help would be quite appreciated. ><
I don't know what I'm doing. o.<
